Mobile app development for apps people keep, not just download.
Most phones hold a graveyard of apps opened once. Keeping people is the whole game, and it is designed, not hoped for: fast first value, honest notifications and an experience that respects thumbs and time. That is what sixteen years of product work have taught us to build.

What does mobile app development include?
Mobile app development covers the design, building, testing and launch of applications for iOS and Android, either natively or with a cross-platform framework, plus the back-end services, app store submission and post-launch updates that keep the app working and growing.
UK phones split almost evenly, with Android at 53 per cent of mobile web traffic and iOS at 47 per cent (Statcounter, September 2026), so most business apps need both. The app store rules are shifting too: the Competition and Markets Authority gave Apple and Google strategic market status in their mobile platforms in October 2025, and Google Play has since let UK developers use their own billing and link to web payments.
What we deliver.
Not sure it is the right fit? Ask an engineer first.
Thirty minutes with a senior engineer, free and with no obligation. Bring the problem, not a brief.
The build, briefly.
Discovery and user flows first, then a prototype of the core loop, then a working build on your phone every week, a closed beta with real users, launch and improvements based on how people actually use it. After launch, our marketing and AI visibility work brings in installs that turn into active users.
Often built alongside it.
Frequently asked questions.
How is app development priced?
With a fixed, itemised quote in pounds after a discovery session, paid in milestones as working builds arrive. Native builds for each platform cost more than one cross-platform codebase, so we show you both routes and the difference before you choose.
Native or cross-platform: which should we choose?
Cross-platform (React Native or Flutter) suits most business apps and stretches the budget across both stores, which matters in a UK market split close to half and half. Native wins when you need deep hardware access or platform-specific performance. We recommend case by case.
How long does it take to build an app?
A typical MVP takes 10 to 16 weeks from kick-off to app store submission, with a working build to try on your phone every week along the way. App store review adds a few days at the end, and the fixed quote sets out the full timeline.
Do the new UK app store rules affect us?
They might, and mostly in your favour. Since June 2026, Google Play has let UK developers use their own billing and link to web payments, and the Competition and Markets Authority is still deciding how far Apple must follow. We design payment flows so you can switch when the rules allow.
Do you update apps after launch?
Yes. Operating system updates, new features and growth improvements run under a straightforward monthly care plan with no long lock-in. If a store rejects an update, we fix it and resubmit.
